Questions raised about materials used

Southwark Council continue to instruct their workers to carry out temporary repairs to the cracks and gaps in flats across the Ledbury Estate. The cracks are filled with loft-insulation type material and then sealed over with a fire-proof sealant. Southwark Council assure residents that this is just a temporary solution to remedy the compartmentation breaches, however some residents question the suitability of the materials used.
