Southwark 'Drafting Error' To Blame For Misleading Residents Over Tower Block Fire Safety

The original Freedom Of Information response can be seen below along with the relevant section of the misleading cabinet report.

Ledbury Action Group question how such a significant error could have been made in a report to the councils own Cabinet. We also question just how long it will take to carry out the promised Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments to the borough's tower blocks, as the current rate of progress implies this project may continue for several decades. We welcome information from Southwark Council on how they are going to ensure that they fulfill their commitment within a reasonable time-frame.
